Position Overview

We are looking for a passionate and innovative software engineer who thrives in fast-paced environments and stays updated with the latest technological advancements. As a creator, problem-solver, and disruptor, you will develop cutting-edge solutions, rapidly prototype ideas, and incorporate real-world feedback to refine them. This role requires a proactive self-starter who challenges the status quo, is curious, and isn’t afraid to ask “Why?” and “What if?”

This position can be performed in Merrimack, NH, or Boston, MA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using Java 11/17, AWS, Spring, JMS, and Kafka.
  • Handle backend development, authentication frameworks, CI/CD processes, and unit testing.
  • Assist with front-end development as needed.
  • Design and implement software solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for automated testing and deployment on AWS.
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, tech leads, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, test case development, and test automation.
  • Stay updated on web development frameworks and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 10+ years of software development experience.
  • Proficiency in Java 11/17, including Streams, Lambda, Exception Handling, Multithreading, and DataSource.
  • Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Microservices, ORM (Hibernate/MyBatis), REST API, Web Services, JMS, and Kafka.
  • Experience with SQL/PLSQL and authentication frameworks.
  • Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as Mockito and JUnit.
  • AWS Certified Developer/Associate is preferred.
  • Experience with CI/CD, AWS Cloud Infrastructure, and AWS services.
  • Exposure to Angular UI development is a plus.
  • Experience with Karate/Cypress test automation is a bonus.
  • Strong coding skills, with a focus on clean, testable, and maintainable code.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and using Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in Blockchain technologies is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

The estimated salary range for this role in the U.S. is $76,300 – $146,800, depending on skills, experience, certifications, and other factors.
